A Prayer for the New Year

This prayer was in our church bulletin this week and I just wanted to share it.

Come, Holy Spirit,
Spirit of the Risen Christ, be with us today and always.
Be our Light, our Guide, and our Comforter.
Be our Strength, our Courage, and our Sanctifier.
May this new year be a time of deep spiritual growth for us,
A time of welcoming your graces and gifts,
A time for forgiving freely and unconditionally,
A time for growing in virtue and goodness.
Come, Holy Spirit,
Be with us today and always. Amen

The very spoiled, Lexi. Where ever Willie is, she is sure to be. Especially at his feet while he's in the bed.

a silly face on a silly boy...I'm sure there will be plenty of these during this 365.

An old sign in my kitchen. My reasoning for everything!

Sugar Free...is the story of our lives from now on. Not just Willie with his new found diagnosis of diabetes, but all 3 of us living in this house. If he has to change his lifestyle, we should also.

This my friend, Courtney, and I. We have been friends for 18 years. That makes me feel old to say that. We met when we both moved to Pensacola at the same time. We've kept in touch over the years as we've moved to different places. She and her beautiful daughter, Katelynn, came over and brought in the new year with us. Lots of fun catching up and playing board games.

Project 365

I've been wanting to participate in Project 365 for several years now, so I decided I would go for it this year. And who knows, I may actually blog some. (don't get your hopes up)
